The lone regular reader out there will recall that I’ve already mentioned Kenny Young, who spent his summer helping out Bob Casey’s campaign to topple the incumbent Republican Rick Santorum in an absorbing Senate race.
I bumped into Kenny, always good for a laugh, at Saturday’s Progress Conference – which I’ll try and write about soon - and it seems his fame is spreading. Whilst they say that Casey’s losing momentum, the Republicans have got to be worried. Why? Because apparently the fact that Kenny’s answering the phones and stuffing some envelopes makes Casey the kind of guy you just can’t trust.
Now, I see what they mean about lazy US political hacks. Poor old Kenny’s ego must be bruised. They didn’t even mention the foreign political operative was running for North East Fife.
